Kelly Rowland Shares The Secret To Her Lasting Marriage

The key to Kelly Rowland’s long-lasting marriage is surprisingly straightforward: genuinely liking your spouse.
The 45-year-old singer and actress has been wed to 52-year-old talent manager Tim Weatherspoon since 2014. Last month, the couple celebrated 12 years of marriage.
In an interview with the media regarding her collaboration with Eli Lilly’s Ebyglyss eczema treatment, Rowland was open about what sustains their partnership.
“I like him,” she said of her husband. “I genuinely like him as a person. I think he’s a great man … so smart, and handsome, and he has great music taste, and he’s really good with our kids.”
Titan Jewell, 11, and Noah Jon, 5, are the couple’s two sons. The Grammy winner obviously values spending time with his family. Both boys accompanied Rowland on her most recent Boy is Mine Tour, where they watched her practice before each show.
But when the tour ended, not every member of the family was overjoyed. Titan was “not very happy” to miss the action at last month’s Forever Mine Music Festival in Chicago, according to Rowland, and he has already been pressuring his mother to start a new tour so he can join in.
Rowland understands her son’s enthusiasm and is considering ways to include him in future projects. She hopes to balance her career with family time, ensuring that her kids feel involved in her music journey. This might mean setting aside specific days for collaborative activities or even involving them in the creative process. By doing so, she aims to create lasting memories while nurturing their interests and talents. Rowland believes that fostering a creative environment at home will not only strengthen their bond but also inspire her children to explore their own artistic paths. She envisions weekend jam sessions where they can all express themselves and learn from one another, turning family time into a source of joy and creativity. This collaborative approach will help her children develop confidence in their abilities and discover new passions. As they experiment with different forms of art and music together, Rowland hopes to instill a lifelong appreciation for creativity in their lives. Through these shared experiences, she believes that her children will not only bond with each other but also cultivate their unique voices. By encouraging them to embrace their individuality within a supportive environment, Rowland aims to create a nurturing space where creativity flourishes. This environment will empower them to express themselves freely and explore their emotions through various mediums. Ultimately, Rowland envisions her children growing into confident individuals who carry this love for creativity into all aspects of their lives. This foundation will not only enhance their artistic skills but also foster resilience and adaptability as they navigate challenges. As they learn to appreciate different perspectives, they will develop empathy and a deeper understanding of the world around them. This journey of self-discovery will inspire them to become lifelong learners, eager to embrace new experiences and challenges. By nurturing their creativity, Rowland hopes to instill a sense of purpose and passion that will guide them in their future endeavors. This foundation will empower them to pursue their ambitions with confidence, knowing they have the tools to overcome obstacles. Ultimately, such growth will not only shape their personal lives but also enable them to contribute positively to their communities. This commitment to personal development and community engagement will foster a generation that values collaboration and innovation. As they cultivate these skills, they will be well-equipped to tackle the complexities of an ever-changing world, making meaningful impacts wherever they go.
