President Tinubu Repeatedly Defended His Administration

Bola Tinubu’s Declaring that he will run for a second term, President Bola Tinubu has insisted that growing unrest in some regions of the nation won’t drive him from office.

Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang and other Plateau State stakeholders were present when the president made the statements.
Tinubu claimed that anyone trying to use the nation’s security issues against his government was supporting the goals of hostile forces and his political rivals.
Tinubu declared, “You are playing into the hands of agents, including my own enemies, who want to use insecurity to get rid of me.”
The president described himself as a determined politician and added that he remained unwavering in the face of growing criticism over security issues.
I am a politician who is incredibly obstinate. I simply won’t go. He added, “And I will run for my second term.”
Tinubu’s comments coincide with fresh worries about armed group attacks, kidnappings, and murders in various regions of the nation, with opposition leaders and civil society organizations urging the federal government to take more aggressive action.
The president has frequently defended the actions of his administration, claiming that security agencies are receiving assistance to address threats and bring stability back to the country.
