Court Orders Arrest Of Sowore

Omoyele Sowore is ordered to be arrested by the court.

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has had his bail revoked by the Federal High Court in Abuja, and an arrest warrant has been issued.

This comes after he failed to show up for court regarding cybercrime charges brought against him by the Department of State Services (DSS) for referring to President Bola Tinubu as “a criminal” in a social media post.

On the final postponed date, Sowore took over his defense, claiming that his attorneys were scared to represent him in front of Justice Mohammed Umar.

Sowore is requesting that the case be reassigned to a different judge, accusing Justice Umar of bias and requesting that he abstain from the trial.
