Election 2027: Those Who Want To Unseat Me Will Try, But I Will Not Make The Task Easy -Tinubu Declare Self Confident

Declaring that politics is a contest that must be fought to the end, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has stated that he will not make it easy for political rivals attempting to remove him from office.
During a meeting with members of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference, the president spoke about issues related to opposition parties, Nigeria’s political environment, and governance. Tinubu stated that he is still dedicated to addressing the many issues that his administration inherited.
“The difficulties exist. They were inherited by me. The president declared, “I didn’t flee from them.
Speaking about efforts to overthrow his government, Tinubu emphasized that he would not support those working against him while maintaining that opposition is a natural part of democracy.
“Those who wish to remove me will make an effort. I refuse to assist them in tying a rope around my neck. We will continue to wrestle until the very end. In politics, everything is fair,” he said.
Additionally, Tinubu denied allegations that his government intimidates political rivals, claiming that such charges are unfounded.
“We promise never to intimidate anyone. If political rivals raise false alarms, it could be due to their own ineptitude or fear of their own shadows, not me, he said.
The president went on to say that although political rivalry is unavoidable in a democracy, his administration would continue to prioritize governance and fulfilling its duties in spite of divergent political opinions.
