Since the beginning of the Gaza war in October 2023, there has been an ongoing Israeli military escalation in the West Bank, which has included killings, arrests, and raids on cities and towns involving home searches and property destruction.

According to official statistics, attacks by the Israeli army and occupiers in the West Bank since then have resulted in 1,162 Palestinian deaths, 12,245 injuries, and almost 23,000 arrests.
