NDC Backs Governor Makinde’s Call for United Nations Investigation Into Oyo School Abduction

The National Democratic Coalition (NDC) has thrown its weight behind Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde’s call for an independent United Nations investigation into the recent school abduction in the state, describing the incident as one that deserves thorough international scrutiny and accountability.
The coalition said the kidnapping of innocent schoolchildren has once again highlighted the growing security challenges confronting Nigeria and argued that a transparent investigation involving international partners would help establish the full circumstances surrounding the attack while strengthening public confidence in the search for justice.
In a statement issued by the organisation, the NDC maintained that the safety gof children should remain a national priority, stressing that attacks targeting educational institutions represent not only a threat to individual victims but also an assault on the country’s future.
